I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the State of New York. In addition to my MSW, I completed a three year postgraduate training at the National Institute for the Psychotherapies program in Comprehensive Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapy with a specialization in Children and Adolescents. I have been in practice in Park Slope, Brooklyn, since 2001. Before going into private practice, I worked in New York City high schools for ten years, receiving my first Master's degree in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages from NYU in 1988. My six years of teaching continue to inform my work with children and adolescents. After receiving my MSW, I returned to high schools as a Related Services Counseling Provider, counseling learning disabled students who were provided with the service through the IEP process. I also worked as a college counselor at Brooklyn School for Collaborative Studies. I continue to work with high school students around the transition to college.

INSURANCE: I am not a participating provider on any insurance panels. If, however, your health insurance includes out of network benefits, I will provide you with invoices which include the information you need to file your claims.
